This nuno felted scarf has been made using very fine layers of gorgeously soft lilac merino wool fibres on a lilac silk chiffon base material. Lightweight fabric flowers and butterflies cut from a tulle net fabric have been added to one side prior to felting. The reverse is felted but left plain.
The nuno felting process allows the woollen fibres to migrate through the fabric and bind with it. The fineness of the woollen layers preserves the sheer nature of the scarf and the result is a soft, lightweight scarf that drapes beautifully.
This scarf is a longer length scarf measuring approximately 198cm (78") x 40cm (16"). A beautiful addition to any outfit, this scarf would make a lovely gift for a birthday, anniversary, mothers day or just because. It is supplied in a decorated kraft card gift box as shown.
