Full description
This nuno felted scarf is made by laying very fine layers of green merino wool fibres over both sides of a silk chiffon base fabric. Poppy decoration is added to both ends on one side prior to felting and then the scarf is nuno felted, a process which causes the woollen fibres to migrate through the silk and bind with it.
This is a longer length version of a scarf that has been very popular in my shop.
The resulting scarf measures approximately 186cm x 36cm (73" x 14") and is beautifully soft and lightweight. The very fine layers of merino wool fibres preserves the sheer nature of this scarf. A striking addition to any outfit and a fabulous gift idea for any occasion.
