Full description
Beautifully soft and lightweight this scarf has been made using a nuno felting technique. Extremely fine layers of soft merino wool in natural white (unbleached) have been laid over both sides of a cream coloured silk chiffon scarf. Large pink and purple flowers have been cut from a sheer fabric and added to the surface on one side prior to felting.
The nuno felting process allows the woollen fibres to migrate through the fabric and bind with it. The fineness of the woollen layers preserves the sheer nature of the scarf and the result is a soft, lightweight scarf that drapes beautifully.
This scarf is a longer length scarf measuring approximately 168cm (66") x 37cm (14.5"). A beautiful addition to any outfit, this scarf would make a lovely gift for a birthday, anniversary, mothers day or just because. Ready to give this scarf is supplied in a decorated gift box.
