I love Harris Tweed, all the different colours and weaves, traditional or contemporary. The tweeds produced by the small weavers in the Outer Hebrides are a constant inspiration and I am so pleased with the combination of the two tweeds in this wreath. Hope you like it too!

There are two gorgeous Harris Tweeds in this lovely wreath. One tweed is a plain twill in a fabulous shade of vibrant magenta pink and the other is a teal and purple Prince of Wales check.The wreath is backed with navy velvet and comes with a ribbon loop hanger also in navy velvet.
The wreath is made using a traditional rag rug making technique called proggy. The strips of Harris Tweed are woven into a hessian base which is then sewn onto the frame. I think that this makes the wreath feel very sturdy and substantial. The navy velvet backing and the luxurious Harris Tweed make this a beautifully textured decorative wreath.
These wreathes look great on a wall or door but look just as good sitting on your mantelpiece or dresser. They are also a great and affordable way to add a bit of Harris Tweed to your decor and work well with both traditional and contemporary styles. This one has a lovely vibrancy.
The wreath comes with the Harris Tweed authentication label.
Size: 30cm frame diameter with the tweed extending a little beyond this.
