I designed and made the first of these little needlecases for myself. Mine is in gorgeous soft cherry red leather and is in constant use, stuffed with all sorts of needles, pins and threads wound on to card, plus a pair of folding scissors! I've tweaked the design slightly and added the sweet little heart, " just because".
This little item is beautiful and useful which is how I like my accessories to be!

Full description
Lovely little leather needlecase carefully handmade in tan coloured leather and decorated with a red leather heart design. Inside is lined with soft yellow woollen felt from a vintage blanket. There are two useful pockets at either end. The whole is laced together securely through the centre with a strip of leather thonging.
Dimensions (folded shut) are 8 cm across, 11 cm high and 1 cm thickness (all measurements approximate).
This handy little case is ideal for keeping all your working needles and pins conveniently and its sturdy construction means it will last for many years. The tactile quality of the leather means it is a joy to use and handle as well. This would be an ideal Valentine's or Mother's Day gift.
