SALE
This beautifully soft scarf has been made using a nuno felting technique. Very fine layers of natural white (unbleached) merino wool have been felted to both sides of a cream coloured silk chiffon base material. Flowers and butterflies cut from various silk and rayon fabrics have been added to one side prior to felting allowing them to become felted into the scarf. The reverse of the scarf has been left plain.
Nuno felting allows the wool fibres to migrate through the silk and bind with it.
This scarf is a longer length scarf measuring approximately 168cm (66") x 34cm (13.5"). The woollen fibres have been added in an extremely fine layer resulting in a beautifully lightweight scarf.
The scarf is supplied wrapped in floral tissue paper with a gift box upgrade available in my shop making it an ideal gift idea.
Hand wash in warm water.
