Colours always inspire me and I just had to buy some of this beautiful merino wool and silk fibre. It is ideal for a lovely, light soft scarf, so I rolled up my sleeves and got felting. I wanted to achieved a light and flexible finished scarf which would hang and wrap nicely and show offvthese gorgeous colours. I think it has worked well. Mothers Day gift anyone?

Full description

This beautiful, handmade scarf is wet felted in fine layers for a very soft, lightweight feel. The scarf is made from 70% merino wool and 30% silk which gives it a fine texture and means the scarf hangs and drapes well.

These scarves are very versatile and look lovely with both casual and smart styles. The mix of russets and greens make this a very richly coloured scarf which will make a beautiful statement piece to add to any outfit.

The scarf measures approximately 72 inches with the ends finished in an irregular edge.

Designed by Kim MacGillivray in Perthshire scotland
