This is a lovely bracelet - really simple and unusual.
I have created this gorgeous piece by casting an actual fossil of a trilobite in Delft Clay (a type of sand) from molten sterling silver. The casting process results in a perfectly accurate copy of the fossil, with all its fine details intact.
This tiny trilobite was cast from an actual fossil from Utah. The fossil is over 500 Million years old! The little fossil is a typical size for the species. It measures 10mm excluding the bail. The total size, including the bail is 16mm.
I have simply threaded the charm onto a gorgeous marine link sterling silver bracelet, stamped 925 for sterling silver with a lobster claw clasp. It measures 19.5 cm or 7 3/4 inches in length approx. The charm has a large bail, so can be easily removed and added to your own chain as a pendant if you prefer.
This would make a lovely gift for fossil enthusiasts! The coin is for scale and not included.
