Full description
This is a handmade pendulum clock with a battery powered quartz movement with a clear off white dial with Roman figures and a brass bezel.
The design is my own and the item is made by myself (movement excluded which I source from a reputable uk supplier.)
The movement surround has been veneered by my hand on both front and back faces and edges using veneers I have specifically chosen for colour, texture and contrast.
This is complimented by a solid wood base chosen to complete the overall design.
Approximate size:- Height 22cm, Width 15cm, Depth (Base) 5cm, Face diameter 6.8cm
Due to shipping restrictions a battery not supplied, but they are widely available size:- AA, MN1500, LR6.
All my pieces are designed and created in my workshop in Sussex England.
Woods and veneers are carefully selected for their suitability and cut and hand worked.
All final working is performed by hand as are applying the final finishes such as oil, French polish (Shellac) and waxes. This ensures the desired final quality is achieved.
With such a high degree of hand working some minor variances can occur which add further character to the piece and set it apart from the mass produced.
