Yarn: Banana yarn is a magical handspun and handmade vegan friendly yarn, soft to touch with a beautiful slubby texture for fiber artwork
Colour: Ink blue
Yardage: 10 yards for small crafting projects like jewellery making and fibre arts
Wash: Handwash cold with light detergent.
A soft silky art yarn. Banana yarn has no natural stretch when balled up from the hank and knits and crochets beautifully. It has a really wonderful drape and weight to your finished piece of fiber art. Often described as a vegan alternative to silk, banana fiber has the versatility of silk. This yarn has been spun tightly to form a strong, thick yarn with a gorgeous sheen and a lovely slubby texture.
