Item details
Inspiration for the red house was simply finding in Newlyn, Cornwall pieces of red wood (I think maybe from an old fishing boat) in a heap on the beach ready for a beach bonfire or barbecue. The pieces of wood with its peeling red paint was too much for me to resist, so I rescued them and turned the pieces into a derelict red house with a distressed roof. I had great fun in designing this piece, especially the roof. I hope you like it.
