I love making lavender bags and they add such a lovely fragrance to a home. They're versatile too - use them as a hanging decoration, in drawers to keep the contents smelling lovely or over clothes hangers to deter moths!

Breathe in the lovely scent of lavender and make a wish.....
This lavender bag has been made using an deep inky blue linen onto which I've hand embroidered a dandelion clock. The words 'make a wish' have been hand-stamped onto a piece of white cotton and then appliqued onto the front of the bag. A few sequins add a bit of sparkle!
There is a piece of jute twine for hanging and a piece of delicate pale blue ribbon has been tied around it to add a finishing touch.
The bag measures approximately 10 cm by 10.5 cm and is filled with Yorkshire lavender (nothing else - no stuffing!). A gentle squeeze now and again will release the natural oils in the dried lavender and refresh the scent.
A great way to add some fragrance to your home it would also make a lovely gift.
