Viola tricolor, known as heartsease, heart's ease, heart's delight, tickle-my-fancy, Jack-jump-up-and-kiss-me, come-and-cuddle-me, three faces in a hood, or love-in-idleness grows in my suburban garden. Its lovely face brightens my day and here it is depicted in transparent and opaque enamels in a fine silver pendant.

Full description
I have always loved these flowers just like my Grandmother who used to grow them in her garden and here is a wild Pansy that will last beyond the Summer. Made of fine silver and with Viterous enamels kiln fired the technique used is called Cloisonne.
The background is a transparent clear enamel which appears cream in colour and the pansy is blue, violet and purple transparent enamels with opaque yellow and white at its center.. The reverse side of the pendant has been enamelled in a glorious transparent celestial blue.
The pendant is 25mm in diameter and comes with an 18inch sterling silver Belcher chain (not shown in the pics).
