Full description
A desk journal in bright red leather, with a decorative hand stitched heart design on the binding. Lined with matching red mulberry paper, sprinkled with gold feathers, this is a beautiful book and would be wonderful for a special event, or gift.
The cover is high quality red leather, from Harmatan. It has a lovely shine and feels great.
The leather is lined with mulberry paper, in a matching bright red colour, which has been printed with golden feathers, giving it a rich, luxurious appearance.
The book has been hand bound with golden yellow linen, in a longstitch pattern that I designed; the stitching is shaped to form three hearts along the length of the spine.
There are 80 pages (160 sides) of gorgeous, crisp, cream text paper, with hand cut edges. The pages are arranged in eight sets of ten pages and the book will open flat throughout.
Book measurements: 7.5 ins, X 5.25 ins. / 19cm x 13.5cm.

There is a matching strip of leather, which is included as a book marker. A ribbon can be added to the end, to make a "tail" - please ask at checkout, or message me to discuss options.
