Bat 1 is made in African Blackwood (Dalbergia Melanoxylon) this wood is very dark brown with a black striping through, the wood turns almost black in time, this wood is mainly used for wood wind instruments such as flutes and oboes, my supplier mainly make bagpipes.
This bat is approx 50mm x 20mm and comes on a 18" silver plate chain
