i love nature and walking in the country side i pick up samples and use them as inspiration, like this thistle pendant made from the actual impression of a thistle then hand painted.

THIS BEAUTIFUL CONTEMPORARY NECKLACE WILL COMPLIMENT ANY DRESS STYLE BUT WOULD BE A STUNNING PIECE TO WEAR ON COUNTRY WEEKEND.

Each of my hand crafted Porcelain piece has to go through a myriad of procedures until is is ready to sell.All my work is designed and made from start to finish by myself in my own workshops .
After the initial delicate making of each porcelain piece it has to dry out for a few days.
Once completely bone dry each piece has its first kiln firing, which lasts for around 7 hrs, after which they are left to cool for a day before they get completely hand shaped, sanded and hand painted.
The second firing can then take place, which takes about 9 hrs this time at a much higher temperature . After the second firing the pieces have to cool before attach the sterling silver fittings and silver chains, some hand forged by myself. In some cases i do a third firing after applying a clear glaze.
Any pieces that have a platinum or gold luster have to have the coating applied delicately by hand then go on to have a fourth firing ,every piece is slightly different and bespoke.
