Oblong copper metal was etched with a floral design..i oxidized and polished to highlight the pattern and give a dark antique look..i added long shepherd hook antique sterling silver earwires that i strengthened to keep their shape for contrast..

People love copper for it's ancient healing attributes yet copper does oxidize and darken and in some cases may react with your skin in such a way that your skin turns green...so i have sealed this piece with a protect wax that will seal and protect the piece and delay the natural oxidisation that occurs with metals when exposed to the air......
Ear wires are sterling silver and handcrafted by me
All metals are pure copper.
