These beautiful coasters feature a hot combination of sunshine yellow, sunset orange and dusky red with orange iridescent glass.
They really are stunning and I guarantee that no one else will have anything similar as they are one of a kind and sure to be a talking point. They can be broken up and would make great gifts for just about anyone - friends, teachers, work colleagues or relatives.
These coasters were created by hand in my home studio using only fully tested compatible best quality art glass, including orange iridescent glass. Each one was made by fusing two layers of 3mm thick art glass, which is then fired and properly annealed to ensure durability and strength in my kiln. The lower layer is transparent. The iridescent orange glass has a lovely sparkly shine to it; reflecting different colours, rather like oil on water, but much nicer.
These unique and wonderful contemporary coasters are ideal for hot or cold drinks.
Each coaster measures approx 9 x 9 cm (3.5 x 3.5 in) and has little silicon bumpers beneath to protect surfaces.
