Full description
This delicate butterfly pendant has been made from aluminium which I have dyed a fresh turquoise colour. I then seal the dye so that it becomes a permanent part of the metal before cutting out the butterfly shape using a piercing saw. I have domed the butterfly slightly so that it catches the light. To finish I have added a turquoise crystal bead on a sterling silver pin, which picks up the colour in the pendant.
The pendant dangles from a 16" sterling silver chain and measures 27mm x 20mm.
