A beautiful, soft and sheer nuno felted scarf supplied gift boxed in a lovely decorated kraft card window box as shown.
A dark blue silk chiffon scarf and a blend of various blue and red shades of merino wool and bleached tussah silk have been used to create this scarf. Extremely fine layers of gorgeously soft merino wool and silk fibres have been nuno felted to the silk chiffon base resulting in a luxurious, floaty, lightweight scarf that drapes beautifully. The scarf has been felted on both sides.
The nuno felting process is a technique that allows the woollen fibres to migrate through the silk and bind with it.
This dress length scarf measures approximately 124cm x 37cm (49" x 14.5") and would be a stunning accessory teamed up with any outfit, smart or casual.
A lovely gift for any occasion.
Hand wash in warm water, do not wring. roll in a towel to remove excess water, reshape while wet and press with a cool (wool/silk setting) iron.
