Hand forged in my home workshop, using traditional silver smithing techniques.
This lovely, unique pendant has been made by casting a genuine Fossil Sharks Tooth in a sand like medium, known as Delft Clay. The sharks tooth was found by me on the South coast of England and has been worn by wave action to have smooth, rounded edges. The natural patterns and textures of the tooth can still be seen and the casting process has preserved the details of the original fossil perfectly.
The pendant has had a simple ring bail added in sterling silver and has been suspended on a simple belcher or rolo link chain, stamped 925 for sterling silver. The chain measures 18 inches or 45cm in length approx and is a sturdy link.
The pendant measures 13 x 12mm approx. I have taken a picture of the piece next to a 1p coin for scale.
This is a delicate pendant which would look great on anyone's neck line, either ladies or gents, boys or girls. A great gift for fossil enthusiasts, fish tank owners or even surfers perhaps? An alternative chain length can be provided - please ask
