Full description
A gorgeously deep purple soft merino wool has been used to make this nuno felted scarf. Very fine layers of wool fibres have been nuno felted to a deep purple silk chiffon scarf with floral decoration added to one side prior to felting. The result is a super soft, lightweight and floaty scarf that drapes beautifully.
Nuno felting is a process whereby woollen fibres are made to migrate through the underlying silk fabric and bind with it to produce a new material. The scarf has been felted on both sides with decoration added to one side only.
This scarf measures approximately 122cm x 40cm (48" x 16") and would make a stunning addition to any outfit. The use of natural fibres makes this scarf warm in winter yet cool in summer.
A lovely gift for any occasion.
Hand wash in warm water, do not wring. roll in a towel to remove excess water, reshape while wet and press with a cool (wool/silk setting) iron.
