Full description
Beautifully soft merino wool in a pale lilac colour has been used along with a lilac silk chiffon material to create this scarf. Very fine layers of woollen fibres have been nuno felted to both sides of the silk. Nuno felting is a process which allows the woollen fibres to migrate through the silk and bind with it creating a new material. Three large white flowers have been added to both ends on one side of the scarf prior to felting.
The fineness of the woollen layers results in an amazingly soft, lightweight and floaty scarf that drapes beautifully. The scarf measures approximately 128cm x 41cm (50.5" x 16") and would make a stunning addition to any outfit. The use of natural fibres makes this scarf warm in winter yet cool in summer.
A lovely gift for any occasion.
Hand wash in warm water, do not wring. roll in a towel to remove excess water, reshape while wet and press with a cool (wool/silk setting) iron.
