I love the early doll quilts found in the US, and had those in mind as I made this piece.

Full description
A patchwork quilt wall hanging, called "Six Crosses". This little quilt will add a touch of country style to any room. It will also suit modern interiors with its simple, bold design.
This textile is made with a mixture of machine and hand stitching using both new and repurposed fabrics.
Made in the style of an antique doll quilt, I have chosen colours and fabrics to give an aged appearance to the piece. This is further accentuated by giving the wall hanging a 'tea dye' after completion. It has a wrinkled texture.
The wall hanging measures approx:-
17 3/4 inches high by 12 inches wide
45 cm high by 30 cm wide
This piece comes with a hanging sleeve on the reverse, complete with a wooden dowel, ready to hang on either nails or hooks (the wall fixings are not included).
