Basically, I wish I was still a young chid and could receive a toy like this !
The idea came to me one day when I was making Bird Boxes. I was sat in my workshop having a cuppa and noticed a pile of "off cuts" of different shaped pieces of wood and immediately saw the "shape" of a Lorry ! After moving them around a little, the shape of a basic lorry appeared . Then after many many drawings in combination with a vivid imagination. I constructed the Articulated Lorries you see in my Folksy shop. This then led to the idea of building something you could put some "little" people inside! I've always admired the early pioneers of transport where a lot of wood was used in their construction and knowing young children love to put things inside things and then to take them out again
Hey Presto ! What better than a "bus" that can take a number of passengers !
