I found an old book on origami in a charity shop, and fell in love with the gorgeous drawings and diagrams of how to make them! My origami collection is all inspired by those drawings, and the effects of light on folded paper that I play with using transparent coloured acrylic.

This super cute brooch is made from layered acrylic, cut on my little laser cutter in a shed in the Scottish Borders!
I then carefully glue each one together and put a silver plated brooch back on it.
The base colour is a clear pale blue acrylic, and the highlight colour on the top is a lovely pink, with creamy edges, making a 3-D brooch that resembles an origami paper fold, in a colour way that really makes a statement.
The brooch measures 8 centimetres wide and 6 centimetres tall.
Your brooch will be delivered in a recyclable box, wth a cotton pad to keep it safe on it's way to you.
