Last year I was thinking about making silver leaves (after making golden ones) inspired by frost on leaves, but it wasn't until I was asked to make one for a commission this year that I decided to make more.

Full description
Lovely silver coloured glass leaf coasters for men and women of the woods who have come in from the cold carrying a basket of frosted leaves.
To make these leaves I work in my hut in the trees and gild glass with metal leaf (this one is a silver coloured/aluminium leaf) and then cut the sheets up into leaf shapes. The gilding process is never perfect which means that sometimes there are fluctuations in the colour. However this makes each coaster unique. The base is plywood and the bottom is black felt so you won't scratch your table. The coasters are 13cm long. This listing is for ONE coaster only.
