Full description
A beautiful blend of light green, yellow and orange shades of merino wool and bleached tussah silk have been used to make this scarf. It has been nuno felted which is a process which in which woollen fibres laid over a base fabric migrate through the base material and bind with it. The base material in this instance is a pale green silk chiffon scarf.
The result is a gorgeously soft and amazingly lightweight scarf which being made from all natural materials is warm in winter yet cool in summer. The strength of the scarf is provided by the underlying silk allowing the woollen layers to be extremely fine giving a very sheer scarf which drapes beautifully. This scarf has been felted on both sides. The underlying silk scarf has a slight colour gradient across the width of the scarf which is just discernible in the final product.
This dress length scarf measures approximately 134cm x 44cm (52.5" x 17.5") and would look stunning teamed up with any outfit, smart or casual.

Hand wash in warm water, do not wring. roll in a towel to remove excess water, reshape while wet and press with a cool (wool/silk setting) iron.
