The design has been inspired by a Hungarian folk motif that can be found in traditional embroidery patterns. The pendant has been given an elegant, feminine form and look.

Full description
Unique handmade floral sterling silver and vitreous enamel pendant made using the technique of cloisonné enamelling. The design is inspired by a traditional Hungarian folk motif.
In the creation of enamel jewellery glass particles are fused to prepared metal through multiple high temperature firings.
In this case opaque redand white vitreous/glass enamel has been fused to a copper base and decorated with fine silver wire. The base piece has been fired several times in a kiln at a temperature around 800-850 degrees to fuse the fine glass powder in different layers to the surface of the metal. After the firing process, the finished enamel piece has been set into a special floral shaped and elegantly textured sterling silver design made by hand.
