Full description
This scarf has been made using a nuno felting technique. Soft blue merino wool has been laid in a very fine layer over both sides of a blue silk chiffon scarf and highlights in other shades of blue have been added to one side. The scarf has then been nuno felted, a process which causes the woollen fibres to migrate through the underlying silk and bind with it.
The result is a gorgeously soft and lightweight scarf which drapes beautifully. Warm in winter yet cool in summer this scarf would look fabulous teamed up with any outfit, smart or casual.
This scarf measures approximately 130cm x 36cm (51" x14")
A lovely gift for any occasion.
Hand wash in warm water, do not wring. roll in a towel to remove excess water, reshape while wet and press with a cool (wool/silk setting) iron.
