Grab people's attention with this girly take on a classic retro backpack (converted from a vintage summer jacket into a trendy accessory). Bright summery roses and gerberas on an off-white cotton mix background.
The bag is lined with a lilac gingham check.
The pocket flap and bag flap have press stud fastenings and the top of the backpack has a drawstring through eyelet holes.
Both straps are padded for your comfort and are non-adjustable (niceley embroided with leaves running down to match the floral theme).
Strap lengths are approximately 20" (52 cm).
I made this backpack large and deep enough to hold your books, tablet/smart devices and notebooks. It measures approximately H 16 X 12 X D 3 inches

My daughter had been noticing a lot of other students sporting the retro back-pack look and wanted to make one out of something really pretty. I decided to upcycle a gorgeous (mint condish) floral summer jacket that was donated to my shop :) . Take it somewhere bright and sunny or simply liven up your winter warmers with this on your back :) If you find the straps a bit short, it looks fabulous just hanging over one shoulder :)
