Full description
It is high summer and downstream an otter gambols amongst the reeds, rippling along the riverbed.
Inspired by my fascination as a child with the Victorian taxidermied animals at the Natural History Museum this otter is a more ethical solution to recreating that experience.
Made from needle felted merino wool, wire and wire he is housed in a vintage, bow topped glass case.

I intentionally use vintage, repurposed cases to aid the impression of weary grandeur, therefore, whilst wholly sound they are not perfect - please bear this in mind if you prefer high gloss and clean lines
