My husband asked me what I wanted for my birthday, I told him that for a long while I have had the idea of making frames out of reclaimed whisky barrels, so for my 33rd birthday he bought me my first barrel to start making my whisky frames with. I loved the idea of bringing together all sorts of heritage items with in the frames from the age of the barrels and the fine craftsmanship of the cooperage to the hand woven tweed from Harris. I have really enjoyed the process and what has developed from my birthday gift and I hope you do too!

Full description
Handmade in Scotland from reclaimed oak whisky casks and detailed with genuine Harris Tweed and metal from the casks rings. This large single photo frame makes a wonderful rustic yet refined gift or addition to your home. Holds a 4" x 6" picture landscape or portrait. Can be free standing or hang on the wall. Although each frame is slightly different they are near 30cm x25cm in outer dimensions. Stands vertically. Front loaded picture frame with safe perspex secured by simple copper screws for easy picture changes. As the frame is made from reclaimed weathered oak whisky casks textures and overall dimensions will vary slightly as each piece of wood is different which will make your frame a "one of a kind". Genuine Harris Tweed backboard.
