Full description

Part of my Honeycomb range, these pale blue hexagonal earrings take their inspiration from the honey bees’ honeycomb. Honey bees are declining rapidly, but all they really need is lots more flowers to be planted for them, such as the lovely soft blue cornflower.

The earrings are made from sustainably sourced birch wood and then hand painted and varnished, and finished with silver plated butterfly backs. Due to them being handmade, please allow for a certain amount of variation in colour and texture, this is all part of its charm. The earrings are very lightweight and approx 13mm wide, 11mm tall, and 3mm thick. While this pendant has been made to last, please treat it with care and avoid getting it wet.

Your earrings will arrive attached to a backing board, safely wrapped and posted in a jiffy bag, with a little card telling you more about the honey bee.

During the months March – June, each purchase of a piece of Honeycomb jewellery will come with a free packet of wildflower seeds, so you can help out those lovely honey bees!

10% of the profit made from your sale will go directly to the Sussex Wildlife Trust to help them continue their conservation work in the local area.
