Meet Almond Braces, a lovely chunky 5 1/2" bear made of dense, soft, white German alpaca whilst his lower half is made of straight, fairly long wheat gold German mohair. We design these bears in a traditional style but in two colours so that they look like they are wearing trousers, Almond Braces has pretty metallic gold ribbon braces which cross over at the back and are stitched in place. He has a toning gold stitched nose and shiny black English glass eyes. His paws are made of ivory ultrasuede and his pads are gold ultrasuede, he has a light brown belly button and he is steel shot and steel ball filled to give him a nice heavy weight for his size. As with all our bears, Almond Braces is a "one of a kind" Collectable bear, he is fully jointed and as he has small metal parts, he is not a toy and is not suitable for children. I do hope that you like him, he is really cute with a rather sad little face.

We started Haven Bears over 13 years ago and for many of those years we have made our "Braces Boys" style. The bears are usually 3 1/2" or 5 1/2" tall and are made in two colours so that they look like they are wearing trousers. They always have ribbon braces which cross over at the back and are stitched in. Since we first introduced this style all those years ago they have been incredibly popular and we have made hundreds of them but each one has been different. We love to experiment with colour and texture and like to combine both when making our bears.
