I ran a yarnbombing group and also yarnbomb bikes. I was asked to make a pattern for others to join in with yarnbombing at a cycling event, so here it is!

This listing is for the Crochet Pattern only to make your own Crochet Bike Seat Cover Pattern. This is not a finished item
The pattern will be emailed in PDF format after payment.
It fits a standard adult bike seat. If you want to make for a child / teen size you could leave out a few rows near the end. I have used text and symbols in this pattern so it is suitable for beginners and clear enough if you want to learn what the symbols mean. I have also included a short hand pattern at the end for those that know how to read patterns and just want to print that section.
It mainly uses Trebles with some half trebles and some double trebles. It is worked in the round so no joining or sewing up :-)
You will need a 4 or 5mm hook and approx 55g of yarn, this is a great scraps buster.
