I found this gorgeous metal leaf with a pattern reminiscent of fish scales. I had to make some fish with it!

You don't have to love fish to love these, but it helps! My fish brooches have returned this year, now made using acrylic instead of glass. Last year my popular fish brooches were called Fish for Funky Punks, this year they are a cool Ocean Gem. Beautiful gilded brooches. What I love about brooches is that you are not restricted to wearing them on your jacket, coat or jumper, you can also wear them on your hat, beret or scarf! What more can you want! Each fish is unique due to the slight variation of colour and pattern in the metal leaf. The eye is a czech iridescent glass fire polish bead cut in half. The length of the fish is 8cm.
