I wanted to make a diary that was a little bit more personal for people. Christmas is coming so I thought I ought to get a move on putting something on Folksy. It took me ages to work out the printing pattern to get all of the dates in the right order in the sections and I am so pleased I managed it. It would give me so much please to customise the diary to record all of the wonderful dates you have to look forward to in 2016. I hope that this little diary brings as much pleasure to the person using it as it did to me making it.

Full description
This is a beautiful green leather 2016 diary, handmade by me. It is in the wraparound style with a metal hooped fastening to stop all of your scribblings being open to peeking by others. The leather is a beautiful rich red and is very tactile to touch.
I have lined the diary with Italian paper from Rossi in the Florentine style. The paper matches exactly the colour of the leather and uses golds, yellows, reds and blues to bring out the highlights of the paper.
The diary pages are printed by me in my workshop. This gives you the option of being able to customise this diary to add special dates in the coming year, or leave messages for a loved one on particular dates. You may even wish to have the first page printed with a message, poem or quote that is special or inspirational to you. This diary shows the holidays and observances for Great Britain, but I can just as easily create one that shows the holidays and observances for your country.
The diary is approximately 4 inches by 6 inches which is a size that fits nicely into a handbag whilst still being big enough to put your thoughts or appointments in.
The diary pages show two days per page and are made from 100 gsm off white cartridge paper, giving a feel of luxury and quality.
