Full description
A beautifully soft and lightweight nuno felted scarf. This scarf has been made using very fine layers of soft black merino wool on a black silk chiffon base scarf. Merino wool fibres in red, yellow, green and blue have been added across one surface to create a decorative effect. The reverse of the scarf has been left felted but undecorated.
Making this scarf using a nuno felting process, whereby the wool fibres bind with the silk, means that the scarf can remain very sheer and lightweight with its strength provided by the underlying silk. The result is a warm and floaty scarf which drapes beautifully and would look stunning with any outfit, smart or casual.
The scarf measures approximately 128cm x 38cm (50.5" x 15").
A lovely gift idea for any occasion
Hand wash in warm water, do not wring, roll in a towel to remove excess water, reshape while wet, press on cool (wool/silk) setting.
