Hand made Cinderella Turnaround Doll: As a special shop re-opening offer this beautiful doll is offered at a reduction of 25% Just in time for Christmas! £93.75 instead of the usual £125!

One way we see Cinderella in her patched dress and the other we see her in her ball gown! This is a very special doll with some beautiful detailing. Would make a gorgeous special occasion gift.

OPTIONS
The Item can also be custom made to order. She can be a lovely keepsake doll if made with fabrics from your child's favourite old clothes, each patch can contain a memory! The ball gown could be made from a favourite party frock or even your wedding dress!. There are many possibilities. Contact me if you would like to discuss this option.

DESCRIPTION
I use good quality up-cycled and remnant fabrics wherever possible with this doll in order to keep the cost of the materials low, and the ball gown fabric interesting!. ( The majority of the cost of this doll is due to the 15 hours it takes to make.)

Her ball gown is made from two layers of fabric one is blue satin the other is a two tone gold/blue organza which gives the dress a lovely rich sheen and fantastic silky feel! This is trimmed with ruffled organza ribbon. She wears a simulated freshwater pearl necklace.

The patched dress is made from striped cotton with lovely floral patches, her blouse is fine linen and the corset is felt.
She is 20 inches (51cm) tall.

I had a doll like this as a child made from my old dresses. The ball gown was made from one I wore for ballroom dancing and each patch carried a special memory of dresses my grandmother, who was a tailoress, had made for me. ( I think I was 9 before we had to succumb to a shop bought dress!) This one is for sale and continuing the spirit of re- using, contains some lovely quality up-cycled fabrics. I won't mention the names because of copyright but I could tell you privately if you are interested.
I am also happy to make to order in your special fabrics.

Additional terms

This Item is a toy but is not intended for rough play. Many parts have to be hand sewn and all of these have been sewn over twice for extra security. Even with gentle play over a long period some stitching may loosen. This is normal wear and tear and although you would be welcome to contact me regarding a repair there would be a charge for this. If you want her to stay perfect she needs to sit in a glass case on a shelf (but where is the fun in that?!) In the unlikely event that you feel on purchase that some stitching is faulty please return to me asap so that I can carry out a repair before more damage is done. Happy playtime, Lindsey x
