A beautifully chunky, solid leather key ring.
Handmade and hand stitched in my saddlery workshop.
The measurements are: Length 8 cm ( 3") excluding split ring, Width 5 cm (2"), and Diameter of the split ring is 2.7 cm (1")
The feature design is a raised horse head concho, this is a superb quality fitting, with some lovely detailing. The leather used is English Bridle Leather, which is a vegetable tanned, and doubled to give a finished thickness to the key ring of around 8mm.
The leather is cut and stitched by hand, then creased and edged, as traditional saddlery.
The edges are then smoothed and burnished, ( lots of elbow grease), to give a fabulous finish, that I am sure you will love.
Boxed, ready for gifting
I have always loved horses, and these lovely horse head conchos have some great detail, and their raised profile, along with the superb feel of the Bridle Leather, make this a very tactile piece.
I wanted to team the horse theme with something that was traditional in feel, but with just the right amount of substance, hence the Bridle Leather.
This vegetable tanned leather will wear in and age beautifully, so if you are not part of the throw away society, this is the key ring for you
