Full description
This is a festive fantasy scene made mainly from paper, MDF and twigs. The MDF has been painted with three coats of white gesso, then a subtle layer of clear glistening glitter has been added to the top.
The background is corrugated Kraft card, subtly accented with white. The scroll-edged die cuts, along with the angel image have been cut from watercolour card. The angel has been painted with watercolour and then accented with a very subtle sparkly ink. I have applied iridescent glitter to the edge around the angel to make it glisten in the light.
The deer have been painted with a white and aqua glittery glaze. I have painted real dried twigs with two coats of gesso, before fixing them to the wreath. A graduated faux pearl trim has been entwined around the twigs.
The finishing touches are a grosgrain ribbon hanging loop (and also around the edge of the wreath) and a subtle pin stripe design card for the back.
The diameter of the wreath is approximately 26cm by 3cm deep (including twigs and trim).
