Full description

A stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique. It is entirely hand crafted and unique.

This is a Spider's Web, or at least a segment of a web, complete with an attached spider.

All 12 sections oft the web are different types of clear glass, iridescent textured and streaky.

The attached shiny black spider which is lurking in the corner is made from a shimy glass nugget and wire..

I've added a twisted wire border to the outer edges and wire extensions to the segments.

This suncatcher is 12 cm x 10 cm in diameter and hangs from a silvery chain which is securely attached to the top of the web.

I've added a little chain for hanging but it can be hung in the top left of a window by attaching it directly onto 2 suction hook by the rings soldered to either end of the top.

.

It looks lovely hanging in the window where the different textures and colours of glass give it movement and sparkle as it catches the light.

This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass.

All photos are of this suncatcher for sale here as it is the first I've made of this design.
