I like the shapeliness of these earrings coupled with an organic quality that the forging brings.
I've been experimenting with forging and have a pile of little silver stick rejects but I'm pleased with how these turned out. I like the contrast of the little mixed metal discs too... in fact I like them so much I made myself a pair!

Full description
These earrings follow on from the long organic stick earrings but are more sculptural. They are forged from sterling silver with a taper at the top that slides into a ring to hang them from hand made ear wires.
They have a hammered texture from the forging process and are then polished to a bright finish. The sticks are slightly more than 5cm and have discs made from silver bronze and brass soldered to them.
The final photo gives and idea of the length.
The earrings will be sent by first class delivery in one of our Written in Silver boxes ready to give or to open yourself.
