Full description
A hand felted planter or vase with floral design. This vessel differs from most felted vessels in that the inner bowl remains in place making it waterproof and suitable for use as a vase or plant pot, or just as a decorative bowl.
The inner plastic globe shaped bowl has had several layers of lilac coloured NZ perendale wool wet felted over its surface. Various pink and purple merino wool fibres have been used to create a floral design with the flowers being accentuated with antique bronze coloured petals and pink and purple acrylic bicone beads all of which have been hand sewn in place.
The vessel measures approximately 7" (18cm) in diameter in all directions. It has a flattened base for stability and the opening at the top is approximately 4" (10cm) in diameter.
A unique planter that would look lovely with any houseplant and would make a wonderful gift for any occasion.
