My main inspiration for the dresses I make is my honorary niece, Pippa, age 2 and a little terror - but so sweet when she wants to be. She has plenty of Auntie Holly Fabulous dresses, so I decided it was time to let other little girls have some of my creations and have been creating a small range of them ever since.

I fell in love with this fabric when I was supposed to be shopping for fabric to make myself a coat. As soon as I saw it I knew I had to have some and that it needed to be a 'Pippa-style' dress. I adore the 3-d flowers and am sure than any little girl would.

The making of the dress was pretty simple. The choosing of the buttons was now. I searched and searched for buttons to work with this dress, but to no avail. Then, my Grandma out of the blue decided to give me my Great Grandma's button box where I found these two fabulous buttons. I'm not sure how old the buttons are, but the box must be at least 80 years old.
