The beautiful deep blue of this glass reminded me of the night sky. A moth is drawn to what it perceives to be the moon, in this case the flame of a tea light!

I love to collect things, hunting through charity shops for vintage treasures and source my glass from them. I choose very carefully selecting pieces for their quality, then I up-cycle them with my own designs.
This pretty glass tea light in the Bristol Blue style, has been hand engraved with a striking and whimsical moth design. A sturdy vessel, intricately illustrated, this tea light is great for a unique gift. As table centre piece it subtly glows with tea light candle inserted, or can function as a vase or pot for special nick-nacks. It stands approximately 9.5 cm tall.
Due to most items being vintage and up-cycled, any minor signs of slight wear are incorporated into the new, hand engraved design to produce a perfectly unique,contemporary item.
