Full description
This nuno felted scarf has been made using soft green merino wool on a green silk chiffon base material.
A very fine layer of green merino wool has been laid over both sides of the base scarf and five large red poppies have been added to each end on one side of the scarf. The whole scarf has then been nuno felted which allows the wool fibres to migrate through the silk and bind with it. The result is an amazingly soft and lightweight scarf which drapes beautifully. As it is made from all natural materials it has the property of being warm in winter yet cool in summer making it useable all year round.
This dress length scarf measures approximately 142cm x 38cm (56" x 15") and is wide enough to be worn as a shawl or wrap around the shoulders. It is a stunning accessory that would team up well with many outfits both smart and casual and would make a lovely gift for any occasion.
Hand wash in warm water, do not wring, roll in a towel to remove excess water, reshape while wet and iron on a low (wool/silk) setting. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
