Spider Web at Night ! Is a hanging decoration, or wreath if you prefer, wrapped in black unhemmed fabric, which has been enhanced with a mother of pearl stars and a stylised spider and a silvery yarn web.
Perfect for Halloween!
The decoration is constructed on an eight inch (20 cm) diameter flat copper wire base, which has been wrapped in black fabric fragments, which has been left unhemmed so that it can fray. The silvery yarn has been sewn through the fabric to form the spider's web.
The mother of pearl shell stars have been sewn on in an abstract arrangement and a yarn and mother of pearl stylised spider has been composed with two rounded discs.
This wreath would make a pretty decoration for the all seasons, but especially for Halloween, or for the Goth in residence, perfect for any room in the house, however it is not meant to be an outdoor decoration, as it is not made from weather proof materials.
To aid hanging the wreath, I have sewn a looped portion of grey yarn to the top, to allow you ease to hang your wreath to show it at its best potential.
