My sister is a fan of anything steampunk and she suggested I try making a miniature dinosaur that would fit that theme. This led to me ordering a tub of miniature cogs and watch parts and after poking through it for a while Arnold, the first of his kind, was created! His hat was a little large, and using a watch part that had a red centre for an eye made him a little more terminator looking than steampunk but I loved him all the same! Arnold did at least prove a steampunk dino was a possibilty so I had another go and Montague was born.

Full description
This is Montague, he is an usual breed of dinosaur as not only is he miniature and hand knitted but he is also Steampunk with tiny miniature cogs incorporated into his tail and neck. His top hat also features the cogs, and is perfect attire for his favourite time of day - afternoon tea!
He is hand knitted from green acrylic yarn and where possible, the miniature cogs are hand sewn on. Where they are too small they are attached securely using adhesive. His top hat is hand sewn from black acrylic felt and is finished off with some tiny cogs and watch parts for a real steampunk effect.
He is stuffed with a small amount of polyester filling and is finished off with a pair of tiny wiggle eyes.
He comes with his own date of knit certificate and would make a great addition to any dinosaur collection!
He measures approximately 4.5cm tall (including his hat!) and 8cm long
